These tiers each offer distinct benefits, which justifies the grind. Understanding what you earn at each tier helps you decide on which bo7 bot lobby weapons and rewards are right for you.
Here is the breakdown of BO7's Prestige Camo rewards.
The main distinction between the tiers are that Prestige Master's milestone camos (levels 100, 150 and 200) only apply to a specific weapon. As soon as you complete Prestige 2 and enter Weapon Prestige Master all attachments are unlocked permanently.
Returning mmoset Black Ops 2 Prestige Weapon Camos
Black Ops 2's classic camos are back through weapon prestige. Unlock requirements differ by weapon type and prestige tier. This is a full list of all returning BO2 Prestige Weapon Camos.
Since you only have one level to achieve, most Prestige 1 cabos unlock very quickly. Prestige 2 and 250 camos both require a lot more weapon XP.
Additional and Alternate Modes
Skirmish (New Mode)
The Skirmish mode expands the battlefield into full 20v20 combat, blending objective warfare with the large-map battles Call of Duty seldom embraces. The mode is most effective when squads coordinate. One group may push for objectives while other groups flank or suppress.
Each match has a different pace and objective, so players will naturally gravitate towards certain roles. Skirmish feels like a middle ground between Warzone and Ground War. Scores and match lengths vary, creating a rhythmic feel for each session.
Gunfight
Gunfight adheres to the classic 2v2 rounds-based format. Each team has identical loadouts. Every engagement is quick, decisive, intense and fast-paced with only 40 second per round.
Because of the small map sizes, every match is won by teamwork and mechanical skill. It's not a game for hesitating. A late peek or a poor challenge can end a round. After six rounds of play, the match is closed and each comeback seems earned.
Face Off Domination
Face Off Domination compresses Domination's core formula onto smaller maps, without Scorestreaks. Holding objective becomes a brutal tug of war because close-quarters battles start immediately.
This mode is a pure map control one, without streaks. Nobody will be carried away by automatic pressure. It is fast, intense, and great for players that love to fight without distractions.
Face Off Team Deathmatch
This version of TDM has the same scoring system, but Scorestreaks are removed and the battlefield is smaller. Due to the tightness of the maps, gunfights take place faster and rotations can be a guessing game.
Players who struggle with open-map TDM will often find that this version is more approachable, since it's pace is relentless. It is ideal for warm-ups or testing new weaponry in high-pressure, close-range situations.
Face Off Kill Order
It's a variation of the Kill Order mechanic, but without Scorestreak. Matches feel much more personal. On small maps, the focus is always on the marked player.
The HVT is eliminated, but bonus points are still awarded. However, to win you must control the angles instead of relying on the streak pressure. It's all about positioning and communication.
Face off Kill Confirmed
Face Off Kill is a hybrid of the standard KC dog-tag system and small-map pressurization. Because scorestreaks are disabled in this version, players have to be aggressive if their goal is to earn tags instead of just padding kill counts.
The matches often turn into frantic, tight circles where both teams are fighting for tag piles on dangerous corners. It is fast-paced, chaotic, and addictive, especially if you love constant action.
Black Ops 7's multi-player lineup is more deliberate and thoughtful than in previous entries. Each mode is designed with a specific purpose in mind, from TDM's pure gunplay to Overload's chaotic improvisation. Face Off playlists also carve their own niche by removing Scorestreaks, and focusing on mechanics.
If you're looking for high-stress battles or a fast-paced respawn mode, there is a mode to fit your style. There's no stopping the expansion of the playlist with the new seasons. So, finding your favourite mode will pay off in the future.
Black Ops 7 has brought back the Black Ops 4 system of weapon prestige, giving players exclusive camos attachments and prestige attachments. The grind up to level 250 may take some time, but there are rewards, including universal camos, which work on every weapon type, and classic Black Ops 2 styles like Afterlife 115 and Cyborg.
The system is perfect for players that enjoy sticking with their favorite guns and collecting camos. Weapon prestige may not be worth it if your rotation is frequent or you require all attachments to be available at any time. Prestige 1 2 resets of attachments can cause a disruption in your gameplay, but everything will unlock permanently when you hit Weapon Prestige Master.
Shared progression between Multiplayer, Zombies Campaign, and Warzone will let you level weapons wherever you like. In November, the XP for weapons was increased by 25%. The grind is now faster than Black Ops 6! For the best return on your time, you should focus on weapons like MXR-17s, Echo-12s, and M8A1s that unlock multiple camos at different levels.
