The Flag Foundation of India inaugurated the monumental National Flag at IISER Berhampur, Odisha. The institute is recognised as an Institute of National Importance and has emerged as a growing centre of scientific excellence in eastern India.
Established in 2016 and home to 1193 students, IISER Berhampur has built a strong academic and research presence. With notable publications and impactful projects in brain ageing, deep ocean biodiversity and sustainable materials, the institute continues to drive India’s scientific progress.
The inauguration of the National Flag on this campus celebrates the spirit of knowledge, pride and nation building.
